About Mr. Day
For over 17 years, Michael has represented injury victims and their families in catastrophic injury cases involving wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, medical malpractice, and serious personal injury. With his exceptional skill in communication, negotiation, arbitration, and going to trial, Michael has obtained multiple six and seven figure recoveries for his clients.
Michael also has a broad range of experience in other areas of the law, such as trust and estate litigation, real estate litigation, and business transactions. He has been selected as one of Utah's "Legal Elite" by Utah Business Magazine.
Having represented clients from Logan to St. George, Michael has appeared in all of the District Courts in Utah and has tried cases in half of them. He has also appeared before the Utah Supreme Court as well as the Utah Court of Appeals.
Regardless of the size or complexity of each client's case, Michael prides himself on giving each case his full attention and maintaining active and meaningful communication with each client. Michael is a graduate of the University of Utah (B.A. Business Management, 1994) and the University of Utah College of Law (Juris Doctor, 1997), where he graduated in the top 15% of his class and was twice a Leary Scholar in Commercial Law and Jurisprudence (representing the top performance). After Law School, he was a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Leonard H. Russon of the Utah Supreme Court (1998-1999). Prior to law school, Michael was a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for Draper City Ambulance. He is also fluent in Spanish.
