Nathan focuses on appellate practice, real estate, and civil litigation. If you have a complicated case that requires a sharp eye, you'll be glad you have Nathan on your side. The Utah Court of Appeals has praised Nathan for his painstaking attention to detail in legal writing. He is the firm's go-to guy when it comes to researching and solving unique, complicated problems. But whether he is updating the title to a piece of property whose record owners all died over fifty years ago, distilling all of the evidence of a four-day trial into an appellate brief, or just reviewing a contract, Nathan will put his skills to work for you.
While he grew up in small-town southern Utah as the son of a dairy farmer, Nathan learned early that his talents lay elsewhere. After graduating in 2003 from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon with a B.A. in International Affairs, he received his Juris Doctorate from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 2007. He was admitted to the Utah State Bar in 2008.
Along with his legal practice, Nathan was a member of the Utah Supreme Court's Advisory Committee on Civil Procedure, which works with the Utah Supreme Court to decide the rules that govern the state trial courts. He sings baritone in the Salt Lake Men's Choir and volunteers for the Utah Aids Foundation.
